Help with Ork Meter.
Email: edos-labs@edos.io
We answer within one business day (Monday to Friday, America/Boise time, excluding US holidays). That is our support commitment; we do not offer an uptime or other service-level agreement.
Never paste a helper credential, token or API key into email, chat or a URL. If you think a credential has been exposed, revoke it from your dashboard first, then write to us.
Getting started
- Sign in at orkmeter.com/register with GitHub. A new account gets 7 days of Plus and base features through day 30, then a permanent free tier with one client connection. No card is required, and nothing is charged automatically.
- Choose the clients you use on the setup page. On the free tier you select one client; you can change it twice per UTC calendar month.
- Pair the helper from the pairing page. The helper sends usage metadata only, never prompts, responses or code.
Check your setup
The helper's pair verify command asks Ork Meter whether a helper is authorised and how many usage events it has received. The read-only doctor check in the helper guide confirms your local configuration without uploading anything. A passing check proves configuration, not usage coverage.
Connection status
For each paired helper, your dashboard and pair verify show two separate facts: whether the helper is currently authorised, and how many usage events Ork Meter has received from it, with the time of the first. Authorisation alone is not evidence that usage was received, and a positive count proves accepted metadata, not complete coverage of that client. On the free tier, helpers for clients you have not selected show as paused: they keep their received usage and resume if you select that client again.
Understanding your numbers
Ork Meter keeps four things separate: measured usage (tokens and requests), estimates (calculated from rates we have reviewed), reported charges (values your provider supplied) and included-plan allocations (not charges). Where evidence is missing the dashboard shows unknown, never zero. Ork Meter does not reconcile your provider invoice and does not measure savings. See Terms of Service, section 8.
Billing
Paid plans are US$9.99/month or US$100/year for Ork Meter and US$20/month or US$200/year for Ork Meter Plus (which includes Ork Meter). Purchase is explicit and uses Stripe's hosted checkout; Ork Meter never sees your card. Cancelling stops renewal and keeps your paid access until the end of the period. Refund requests are reviewed by a person. Paid purchasing is not yet available on orkmeter.com; the plan page shows what is live. Details: Terms of Service, sections 3 and 4.
Your data
- Export: your dashboard offers a usage export and a workspace snapshot.
- Revoke a helper: from your dashboard, at any time.
- Delete your account: from your dashboard. You re-verify your sign-in and confirm; access ends immediately and active data is purged on a schedule within 7 days. Backups expire within 35 days. You can check deletion status afterwards.
- Retention: summarised in the Privacy Policy, section 8.
